Anzahlungs-Garantie (advance payment guarantee)
Die Bank des Verkäufers leistet zugunsten des Käufers ein (abstraktes) Zahlungsversprechen für die Rückerstattung einer geleisteten Anzahlung (Vorauszahlung), falls es zu Vertragsstörungen kommen sollte. Die Höhe der Garantie liegt beim Betrag der Anzahlung; ihre Laufzeit geht in der Regel bis zur Lieferung der Ware plus 15 Tage. -Der Käufer, der eine Anzahlung geleistet hat, erhält damit auch die Sicherheit, dass sein Geld vertragsgemäss verwendet wird; denn die garantiegewährende Bank wird den Verkäufer (ihren Kunden) in der Regel daraufhin überwachen.
